Femmes

What started as a casual conversation amongst friends has materialized into a very real event for a noble cause. Through our photography exhibit and auction, we aim to provide financial aid and publicity for UNIFEM National Committee, Singapore's programmes and appreciate any help we receive in making this happen.

What is Femmes?
“Femmes” is a charity photography exhibition and silent auction, centered around the female form, portraying and celebrating the various interpretations of being female. It will comprise contributions from four female amateur photographers who have taken an interest in this art. All proceeds from the event will be contributed to UNIFEM National Commitee, Singapore.

Who are we?
We are a group of friends who all have an interest in photography and wanted to make a difference to our community. We realize we so often get bogged down in our own professional lives that we find it difficult to contribute as much as we’d like-- and so we’d like to change that.

As amateur photographers, we hope to use our interest in photography to raise money for a good cause. We chose UNIFEM National Committee, Singapore as the charity for this event as its mission is something we find quite compelling and gives us an opportunity to help women in less fortunate circumstances. This is our small contribution.
